FIRST CHRISTMAS
"FIRST CHRISTMAS" was designed to emphasize everything holy and wonderful about the first christmas. She combined original music with new adaptations of old carols to create a wonderfully moving experience for the holiday
season. To that end, the first song is SHINE JESUS SHINE.
O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM is a beautiful instrumental tribute to the classic carol that has inspired Christians for years. Here Sharon mixes several string sections with pianos and synthesizers to create a new version of this timeless classic.
SILENT NIGHT is an unusual collaboration with her 16 year old daughter who sings soprano in this traditional holiday lullaby. JOY TO THE WORLD is a refreshing composition of horns and brass which sharon both arranged and played
with the help of several synthesizers.
THE BABY BORN IN BETHLEHEM was written for children. Listen for the middle eastern instruments including the sitar and her odd collection of percussion instruments.
She rounded out the project with EMMANUEL, AWAY IN A MANGER, MY PEACE and MERRY CHRISTMAS HOLY ONE. She wrote this song
while strolling through a Salvation Army thrift store in Butte, Montana back in 1994, before
she came to know the Lord.
"FIRST CHRISTMAS" can be found at Christian bookstores throughout Kansas city, Mo and in selected venues where Sharon
is slated to sing. Limited distribution rights have been given to YMA Music and several cuts
can be heard on select Christian radio stations across the mid west.
| FIRST CUP
"FIRST CUP" will be Sharon's next cd. This project will include much of the original material which she has presented in churches and worship services over the past four years. SEND AN ANGEL which is a tribute to the children of 911 has received tremendous response from congregations everywhere and will be extremely well produced both as an album cut and a single. Also included on this cd will be A MOTHERS HEART and LITTLE ONE, both dedicated to and written about her children.
HEAL MY TROUBLED HEART and PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMIES are also in production at this time. THE QUIET TIME OF MIDNIGHT, which was Sharon's first christian song will be included on this debut release. It is a moving, uplifting song written just two weeks after Sharon was diagnosed with severe Graves Opthalmopathy which is slowly eating away her eyesight. THE PERFECT LAMB, a beautiful ballad about the sacrifice of Easter and several other original songs will be included in this compelling project that has been years in the making.
Sharon is utilizing talent from all over the midwest to produce this cd. Mike Patron, of the new Kerry Livgren band, Protokaw appears as guest drummer. Tommy Chadwick, Josh Williams and Lance Zimmerman will all have featured roles on multiple tracks and Andrew Schwartz and Linda Burgess have added their voices to several background tracks. It will be a wonderful tribute to God's blessings, mercy and grace.
FIRST PRAISE
"FIRST PRAISE" is Sharon's first Praise CD. It contains popular praise and worship songs such as "Forever," "I could sing of your love," "He Reigns" and "Open the Eyes of my Heart." It also features moving original arrangements of "Holiness" and the classic worship song, "Sanctuary."
Also included are "Friend of God" which has been a favorite in concerts everywhere due to the incredible driving drum track and the piercing horns and "Testify to Love" which has been Sharon's most requested song. Here you will also find her 1996 hit "Trading my sorrows" and the original instrumental "Sabbath Day."
